The Turtle Beach® approached Ink Studios to develop an all-encompassing design language for their newest Stealth™ wireless gaming headsets. The language required a cohesive, functional yet flexible design application.
Comprised of 3 separate models the Stealth™ wireless language is anchored on a “D” shaped earcup which provides enhanced comfort and the functionality necessary for a fixed mic boom. An improved fixed mic design provides a workman-like quality to the headsets and delivers a superior gaming experience.
Each model required unique design characteristics while still maintaining an overall cohesive family appearance. The 500 leverages a lightweight floating headband strap and reduced part count to create an affordable entry level wireless platform. The 600 delivers lasting comfort, robust durability and highlights hidden headset mechanics including an internal yolk and invisible headband extension. The 700 showcases premium materials including elastomeric headband and leather cushions while also highlighting a unique Aluminum ribbon half yolk.
